Clubs and Activities

As part of our drive to make a child’s experience of life at Wootton fulfilling, we offer a wide range of clubs and activities that take place after the school day.

The clubs that we offer change on a half termly basis, and run Monday- Friday from 3.10pm-4.10pm. We run a range of different clubs each half term, ranging from sports and dance, to art and photography.

We send home a clubs application form, which needs to be returned on time in order for spaces to be allocated. We expect children to commit to the club they have been offered and ask that if they no longer wish to continue, that we are informed so that the space can be offered to another child.

Most clubs are £3 a week unless stated otherwise on club letters, all sports clubs are free of charge. 

Before and after school 
We work closely with the onsite pre-school and nursery, Little Herons Childcare. They open at 8am in the morning for breakfast club and are open after school until 5.30pm. In the mornings a member of their staff brings the children into school and delivers them to their classroom. After school they also collect the children from their classroom at 3pm, or will return for them at 4pm if they are attending an after school club. They can also provide holiday care.

• Breakfast club is £6.45, which includes breakfast.
• After School Club is £6.45 per hour, which includes toast, fruit and drinks.
