Grey/black formal trousers (acceptable for boys and girls) NO leggings. Tailored knee-length shorts. Grey skirt/pinafore. Green and white gingham dress (summer months only). FOOTWEAR Shoes should be black, practical and sensible. No open toed sandals, heels or boots. NO TRAINERS except for PE. In reception class, wellies are required every day. BAGS Years R-4 will require a book bag. All years – PE bag Years 5&6 permitted rucksacks due to additional equipment. NAIL VARNISH/ MAKE UP/ TEMPORARY TATTOOS This will NOT be permitted in school. Children will be asked to remove this if worn. | JEWELLERY Children are not permitted to wear any jewellery to school other than stud earrings which must be removed prior to PE because they cannot be taped. PIERCED EARS Children having their ears pierced should do so at the start of the summer holiday to give them time to heal before September. Although efforts will be made to include children wearing earrings with associated tasks e.g., timekeeping, this is not always practical. Earrings must be removed prior to PE lessons Children must do this, either before school or be able to manage this independently. HAIR STYLES No extreme haircuts i.e. Mohicans, Patterned styles where logos, tramlines etc. are shaved in. Girls’ hair should be tied up or plaited. Dyed/ coloured or highlighted hair is not permitted for girls or boys. |
