I am delighted to attach the report from our recent Ofsted monitoring which you see reads positively. As I mentioned in the newsletter previously, this outcome does not change the grading of our school, but reads very positively that the school is moving in the right direction to be graded a ‘Good’ school at the next full inspection. We still have some work to do but I am pleased that our judgements have been verified and the plans and next steps already in place have been agreed. you will see that the HMI has not given any further areas to develop, so we are confident that we are taking all necessary action to ensure that Wootton Primary School becomes at least a ‘Good’ school.
I would like to take this opportunity to thank the whole school community for the support I have received since I have been in post and look forward to the continuing journey ahead. The staff and governors are committed to ensure that the children receive the best education they deserve.
If you would like to discuss any elements of the report further, please do not hesitate to contact Mrs Maggie Hartley, Chair of Governors, or myself.
Mrs Jane Wilford
